What is Sterling Silver ?
Silver often plays second fiddle to another precious metal, gold, but this element has special properties that deserve a good look.
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. The sterling silver standard has a minimum fineness of 925.

Jewellery casting
One of my personal favourite Jewellers techniques is the casting process. A wax pattern is made into a jewellery mould and then filled with molten metal to create a custom detailed piece of jewellery - It is WOW to see the transformation.

Melting Silver
Melting Silver is so COOL & HOT at the same time! Silver has a melting point of 961,8°C - Yikes! That IS HOTTT!!
